A&I Services & Consulting (AISC) proudly participated in the official Kick-Off Meeting of the AGILE project, marking the formal launch of a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening Higher Education systems in third countries not associated with the Erasmus+ Programme.
The AGILE project addresses a critical priority of the European Union: modernising Higher Education to better respond to labour market needs while accelerating the twin Green and Digital transition. In a rapidly evolving global economy, universities must move beyond traditional academic models and adopt interdisciplinary, innovation-driven approaches that equip students with relevant, future-oriented competencies.
The Kick-Off Meeting brought together academic institutions and non-academic partners from multiple regions to align on the project’s objectives, governance structure, work packages, and implementation roadmap. Discussions focused on curriculum innovation, strengthening university-enterprise cooperation, addressing skills mismatches, and embedding sustainability principles across learning frameworks.
During the meeting, particular emphasis was placed on:
- Enhancing employability through innovative teaching and learning methodologies
- Integrating Green & Digital competences into existing academic programmes
- Strengthening collaboration between Higher Education Institutions and industry stakeholders
- Supporting sustainable economic recovery through education reform
As a non-academic partner, AISC plays a strategic bridging role within AGILE. Our contribution focuses on reinforcing the connection between academia and the labour market by providing expertise in:
- Labour market analysis and skills alignment
- Stakeholder engagement and enterprise dialogue
- Innovation and entrepreneurship frameworks
- Sustainability and exploitation strategies
AISC ensures that the project outcomes remain practical, market-driven, and aligned with real economic needs. Our experience in EU-funded projects, curriculum development, and digital transformation allows us to contribute to designing educational strategies that respond directly to emerging skill shortages and support green and sustainable growth.
The Kick-Off Meeting confirmed strong consortium commitment and a clear operational roadmap for the coming months. The next phase will focus on research, needs analysis validation, and the co-creation of innovative academic solutions that reflect both European policy priorities and regional socio-economic realities.
AGILE represents more than a curriculum development initiative. It is a structured effort to future-proof Higher Education by embedding sustainability, digitalisation, and industry cooperation at its core.
AISC is committed to contributing actively to the project’s successful implementation and long-term impact, ensuring that education becomes a driving force for resilient, inclusive, and sustainable development.
We look forward to sharing further updates as AGILE progresses.
